V1′s own Alejandra De Miguel is showcasing her love and knowledge of wine this year at the Gourmet Food & Wine Expo. Hosted at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, you will be able to indulge that food and wine connoisseur within you. Our chief winemaker Alejandra will be featuring a tutored tasting exhibit called Progressive Portugal. The expo runs from November 17th to the 20th. For more info and tickets check out this link.

On October 16th, Vintage One opened up their doors to several guests wanting to turn their feet purple with some locally-grown grapes. Friends and newcomers to V1 enjoyed wonderful wines and amazing Argentinian cuisine. Spectacular performances were put on by tango dancers that made it hard to stay in your seat. On October 16th, come join V1′s Alejandra and Jeronimo De Miguel in a traditional grape stomping event. This annual celebration here at Vintage One Wines is a chance to stomp on some locally-grown grapes, taste a collection of superb wines and indulge in the flavours of Argentinian cuisine. Locally distilled TAG Vodka will also be participating in the event delivering their smooth tasting spirits as part of our signature martini. The event takes place between 1-5PM when you will have the chance to mingle with renowned artisans, winemakers, chefs, musicians and dancers. Tickets are available here.

Tango is a dance that was born in the beautiful capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires. El Congreso is an event that helps bring the Toronto Argentine tango community together and to share the passion, history and culture of tango. Between October 20-23 of this year will be the 4th International Argentine Tango Congress. Vintage One Wines is showcasing their roots and is a proud sponsor of El Congreso this year. Held at the Vintage One Winery, the inaugural event was a great success with record sponsorship rates, great wines and food as well as a musical set by Oliver Pigott. V1 Hosts the Perfect Evening of Good Food and Drink

Toronto chef Michael Bonacini is known for his notable restaurants Canoe, Auberge du Pommier, and Luma. On July 13th Chef Bonacini was teaching some of his fine culinary art to the clients of real estate firm Colliers International. Guests were given a demonstration and then they were set off to help prepare one of the four courses that would be served that evening.
